ACE Donates over $87,000 to American Red Cross’ Houston-Area Relief Efforts

ACE Cash Express stores across the country joined forces this September to raise funds in support of people devastated by Hurricane Harvey in the Houston-area. In total, ACE customers and employees contributed and raised $87,365.57 for the American Red Cross’ relief efforts in Houston.

“Community commitment is a key value here at ACE Cash Express,” said Eric Norrington, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs. “We’re proud to support the American Red Cross as they continue to help people recover from the damages inflicted by Hurricane Harvey.”

Donations collected by ACE employees help the American Red Cross to provide food, shelter, supplies and emergency support to those affected in the Houston-area.

“The Red Cross is continuing major relief efforts in response to both Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Hundreds of thousands of people were impacted by these storms, and with the help of donations like this from ACE Cash Express, we are providing help and hope to thousands of people in Texas and beyond,” said Keith Rhodes, CEO, American Red Cross North Texas.

ACE’s charitable giving program, The Community Fund, is committed to empowering organizations that help children, provide education and promote financial literacy in the communities it serves. To date, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $11 million to organizations across the nation.
